Upstream consulting grew out of the years of branding and marketing work that founder Kim Anderson completed with a variety of companies in Silicon Valley. She observed a lack of vision and how it created a toxic environment from a lack of shared goals and purpose. From extensive research and branding work, she developed her purpose methodology to help companies identify their unique purpose and bring it to life.
Kim saw that she could solve two problems at once: to help companies that had disruptive technology that could change the world bring together their solutions with the customers, while also making more productive and healthy working environments.
Disruptive companies that are changing the world with new solutions need their customers to buy into this new movement. Movements require a purpose. We work with companies to define their purpose and operationalize it, in order to enable and accelerate their movement.
